Vacation by bike

Cycling and relaxing – nowhere is this better than in the NOCKBIKE region. Your cycling vacation here often begins with breakfast on the lakeside terraces and always with a magnificent mountain panorama. After an active day on two wheels, relaxing hours await: a dip in one of the two thermal spas in Bad Kleinkirchheim, a visit to the Millstätter See bathhouse or a dip in the warm waters of Lake Millstätter See, Lake Brennsee or Lake Maltschach.

And in between?

While some explore the Millstätter See cycle path with the family, swimming in the lake in between or shortening the route with the “Peter Pan” bike ferry, others are looking for a challenge: flow trails, nature single trails or challenging tours up to the peaks of the Nockberge mountains offer the right experience for every biker.

A few meters in altitude can be comfortably conquered in between with the Goldeck mountain railroad, the Bad Kleinkirchheim mountain railroads or the mountain railroads on the Turrach. Whether mountain bike or e-mountain bike – the choice is yours. Especially in the early and late season, a road bike tour through the Nockberge mountains or to nearby Lake Weissensee is also worthwhile.

If you want something even more special, you can easily request hardtails or fullys, including organic or e-bikes, from our bike partners. So you are perfectly equipped, regardless of whether you want to take it easy or really get pedaling.

The Obermillstatt bike area on Lake Millstatt is the perfect meeting place for families and young bikers. With 1,250 meters of varied trails, there is something for every level – from flowing beginner trails to challenging lines.
