Bathing time with a view – directly from the Hotel zur Post
Lake Millstatt is much more than just a lake – it shows its most beautiful side at the lido. You can start your day right from the hotel’s own lido: swim, splash around, soak up the sun or relax on the large sunbathing lawn. The water is crystal clear, and if you like, you can also discover the lake from the water on a boat trip.
You can reach the lido in just a few steps from the Hotel zur Post – the perfect place to enjoy the mountains and lake to the full.
Everything you need for your perfect bathing day
Grab one of the free sun loungers or parasols, lean back and simply enjoy the moment. If you’re feeling peckish in between, the snack bar at our lido serves cold drinks, hot coffee specialties and snacks with a view of the lake.

This is what a summer vacation feels like.
Döbriach & surroundings – Experience nature
Döbriach is located on the eastern shore of Lake Millstätter See – your vacation resort at the foot of the mystical Mirnock and gateway to the Nockberge National Park. From here, you can head straight to the lido or set off on a variety of excursions: Hikes into the Nockberge mountains, a detour to the mill hiking trail in Kaning or leisurely tours along the lake.
The gentle peaks of the Nockberge mountains with their rounded shapes and dense forests provide the perfect backdrop for relaxing walks and breathtaking panoramas. The unspoilt southern shore with 13 kilometers of untouched nature can be explored on foot or by bike, and the 24-kilometer-long cycle and footpath around the lake always opens up new perspectives on this unique landscape.
