Our Schilf bivouac is the perfect retreat for lovers. Located directly on the shores of Lake Millstatt, you can enjoy absolute privacy and an incomparable view of the water – day and night. We invite you to the Hotel zur Post for breakfast and prepare a gourmet picnic basket for your romantic dinner by the lake.
Despite the seclusion, you can enjoy all the amenities of the hotel: sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, solarium and our private hotel beach with loungers and parasols are of course available to you.
The bivouac itself has a deliberately minimalist design: A cozy Swiss stone pine bed, a seating area and a small bathroom provide comfort without frills. There is no water connection here – instead you can use our nearby sanitary facilities with hot water on the beach or the hotel’s wellness area. A dry toilet is available.

Additional services:
Breakfast basket € 25,- for 2 persons: we bring your breakfast directly to the terrace of the bivouac. This includes coffee or tea, jam, butter, sausage & cheese, vegetables & fruit, pastries, juice and mineral water
Please note that pets are not permitted in the bivouac.
