Döbriach – your versatile vacation destination on Lake Millstatt

Döbriach is located on the eastern shore of Lake Millstätter See – your vacation resort at the foot of the mystical Mirnock and the gateway to the Nockberge National Park. This makes Döbriach the perfect starting point for hikes in the Nockberge mountains or an excursion to the mill hiking trail in Kaning.

You can reach the unspoilt southern shore of the lake, which is 13 kilometers long, from Döbriach on foot or by bike. Enjoy the pristine beauty of this special area – for example on a 24-kilometre cycle tour around the lake on the specially created foot and cycle path.

Frequently asked questions about our beach area

Do you have sun loungers and parasols on the beach?

Yes, parasols and sun loungers are available to our hotel guests free of charge - just take them and relax!

Is there something to drink and eat on the beach?

Yes, our beach kiosk is open in July & August from 12:00 to 17:00 in good weather. Alternatively, there are also drinks and snack vending machines on site.

Can I hire SUPs at the lake?

Unfortunately not directly on our beach, but SUPs can be rented just a few minutes away at the Parkbad.

Is there a parking lot at the beach?

Yes, you can easily drive to our lido by car and park in the gravel parking lot.

How far is the lido from the hotel?

The hotel is centrally located in Döbriach, the beach is about 1.8 km away - perfect for a short walk or a quick bike ride.

Are dogs allowed on the sunbathing lawn and in the water?

Of course, your four-legged friends are allowed on the sunbathing lawn. Please note that dogs must remain on a lead and are not allowed in the water. A few minutes further on, they can refresh themselves in the mouth of a stream.
