The boss of hearts
Reception, guest smile & insider tip expert
Lisa is the good soul at our reception desk – always in a good mood, even when others are a little tired or annoyed. She is like a second mother to our apprentices: with an open ear, an encouraging smile and the right advice at the right time. With her warm manner, she makes reception a place where everyone immediately feels at home.
Fun fact: Lisa really knows every Disney movie and is a passionate rock ‘n’ roll fan. When she drives up in her car, you can hear Lisa before you even see her
Paul Kern
The hop philosopher
Pleasure sommelier & bike guide with heart
As a beer sommelier, Paul will guide you through the world of flavors and show you that beer can be at least as exciting as wine. When he’s not explaining exciting nuances of taste, he’s a passionate mountain bike guide on the most beautiful trails in Carinthia – always with a smile and a good dose of humor. During the day he takes care of everything that goes on in the hotel, in the evening he likes to toast with you, with a regional beer of course.
Fun fact: Paul recognizes beers blindly by their taste – and has the perfect stop for every route on two wheels
Barbara Kern (Senior Manager)
The style icon
Grandma with charm & captain of the flowers
Barbara can be recognized from afar by the characteristic sound of her high heels – always in top style and full of energy. With her green thumb, she ensures that the hotel is in full bloom and, as a true wine connoisseur, enjoys sharing a glass with guests, preferably over a sundowner by the lake. Historically, she has made a big difference: she has been involved in numerous renovations and played a decisive role in shaping the hotel’s development from an inn to a hotel – with heart, style and a good dose of energy.
Fun fact: Despite her love of elegant outfits, she’s not afraid of a job – and even wears high heels in the flower garden
Klara Kern
The animal whisperer
Small but mighty & favorite of the playground and stable
Klara is our youngest team member and has a very special talent: loving animals. Whether in the playground or with the four-legged friends – she is always in the thick of things and her cheerful nature ensures that even the youngest guests have adventures. You can feel it with her: Cordiality knows no age!
Fun fact: Klara’s favorite friends are animals: she can communicate wonderfully with rabbits, cats and the like
